Here to meet, what will soon be, a growing demand for new International Train Drivers for new operators entering the field of International Rail Services, we have many years collective experience in the training, operations and provision of High - Speed rail services both in the UK and also in Europe. EPS are connecting with relevant networks training providers to enable you to become fully licensed as an International Train Driver.

Chris Boyce, Managing Director.

Joining British Rail in 1978 at Fratton, Portsmouth as a Traction Trainee, progressing through the grades to finally gaining his Drivers appointment in 1984. Chris joined Eurostar in 1995 and stayed until December 2008 having made around 700 trips to Paris. Chris also worked on the White Rose service for GNER for two years from 2000 as well as driving the Disney service to Marne Le Valle. Chris moved to First Group at Paddington in 2008, becoming a Driver Instructor in 2010 ending his 40 years service with GWR at Paddington having spent 4 years on Inter-City 125's. Chris began SmoothtraxGroup, (Driver procurement services) in 2021.  European Passenger Services (part of SmoothtraxGroup) was incorporated in 2025.

Mick Proctor, Operations Director.

Starting his career at Ashford, Kent in 1983 as a Traction Trainee under British Rail, Mick has progressed through the driving grades to becoming an International Driver in1999 with EWS/DB Schenker at Dollands Moor, working Freight services before transferring to Eurostar UK passenger services in 2012. In 2018, Mick gained his International Driver Manager status and has trained numerous Drivers through full courses incorporating HS1, SNCF and SNCB Rules & Regulations, extensive classroom and simulator work and nurtured many connections within the main EU rail network. Mick's time with Eurostar has given him a wealth of knowledge and experience in European Passenger Services.
